Firefox redirects to https -

i'm using firefox, , while setting server, have been fiddling around redirects. now, firefox has cached 301 redirect http:// example.com https:// example.com , http:// sub.example.com https:// sub.example.com.

i've tried following things:

  1. history -> show history -> forget site.
  2. checked no bookmark https://example.com present.
  3. changing browser.urlbar.autofill false in about:config.
  4. changing browser.cache.check_doc_frequency 3 1.
  5. options -> advanced -> network -> chached web content -> clear now.

none of above works, checked redirect wheregoes.com , doesn't show redirect http https. i've changed dns point ip served server, i've never set redirection - redirection still in effect.

i've tried in private browsing in firefox, , there no redirect there. i've tried in google chrome, , there no redirect here.

i've tried make redirect https http worked in google chrome, , yielded redirection error in firefox.

my version of firefox 38.0.1, , i'm using windows 8.1. use following addons: addblock, avast! , lastpass. avast! may not issue, i've disabled while testing.

does have suggestions on can it? in advance help!

"sites preferences" culprit. wasted 45min of life finding how fix despite kb/support.mozilla tricks not solve issue nor did mine. dunno triggers issue several of websites started go pear-shaped in few weeks affecting me , firefox.

that's solution looking for:

  1. go preferences
  2. privacy
  3. click 'clear history' (nothing happen yet, click safely)
  4. once pop-up appears, click details.
  5. untick except 'sites preferences'
  6. select 'everything' in select box @ top
  7. click ok
  8. try now

ps: did try did not worked me are:

  • urlbar.autofill false
  • forget website trick
  • safe mode
  • we know not hsts issue when website own , accessed before never got https support ff wants use https... firefox bug imo.
