statistics - R - list of 20,000 addresses in one county and I want to make a density map by block -

i have dataframe 20k addresses in 1 county , ideally want make block-level map colored how many of addresses located in blocks. darker colors = more addresses. have done rudimentary mapping never quite this. imagine might need use census data block information or maybe not?

any tips on how started this? thanks!
